So I closed my Digitals Store for the time being. I need to redo my store and get rid of old kits, etc. as I work on some new stuff. My DigiScrapWarehouse store is staying open during my remodeling. I have several new vintage/oldworld kits there.

FB's Rules Require NO CONTESTS

Yup that's right. If you are having a giveaway or contest FB considers it advertising and they charge $10,000 for ads. One would think they would like the traffic that Scrapbookers/Designers bring to their site. So all my contests and giveways will not be announced here and you can still see my new stuff and other news on FB. I had a warning if I didn't cease, I was in danger of loosing my page. I wonder how that will work with big companies like Memory Makers and Tim Holtz designs, etc. I know I have left comments for free giveaways so it wasn't just the little guy that didn't understand FB rules. At any rate you can do an RSS feed to my blog or put it in your favorites bookmarks and check back often. At least I can announce that I have something special on my Blog. ROFL Where there is a will There is a way!!! Thanks to everyone who visit and leave comments. They are always appreciated!!!

Quick Paper Actions Now in PSE and CS PRO and Standard, New Sampler and New Contest

First off if you have purchased this action for CS, just send me an email, barb.speck@gmail.com with date of purchase and store and I will send you a coupon to replace the old action with the new. The new action actually has two separate actions. One is the Standard action that you just click and let run. The Pro version gives you total control over the element you use. It won't be quite as quick but you can move and/or totally transform your element to how you want it positioned.

The PSE version runs in PSE 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 and the CS action runs in CS, CS2, CS3, CS4 and CS5

I also have just added the Quick Paper Action Papers and Textures Sampler to my stores at Digitals and NDISB so that you can see and "feel" first hand the kinds of papers, overlays and/or textures you can make with this action. You can also put a little element on the background, run the action in the middle or further down and make your own sprays. There are full instructions included. The best thing or maybe the worst about this action is that it is very addictive. As one might see from my stores I have now made 3 paper packs using this action and I have some more I want to make!! LOL

All Freebies Will Now Be Through My Stores

For various reason I am no longer going to put up Blog Freebies outside of the bi-monthly Blog Train or with a store who might run a Blog Train. You will still be able to get my Artistic Beach Sampler now in my stores and all other Samplers I give out will be through my stores. I'm off to upload it now. Otherwise this week I was working on my Featured Designer kit for Digitals. I will be the Featured Designer starting May 5 and for 14 days you can get a daily download which will equal a full kit when finished but I'll have a message about this closer to the May date and I have a couple May collabs to work on so my own kit making has taken a backseat this past week and hope I'll get a new kit or two up this coming week!! I am looking at redesigning or making add ons to my popular Artistic series!!

CU4CU No Longer Allowed As of November 1, 2009

So as of November 1, 2009 my designs will no longer be allowed for CU4CU. If you have purchased a product prior to this date and have made items from my products, you can go on selling your products as per the TOU found in that kit but from this date forward my products will be for CU and PU only. There are some other things I want to be doing and there are some stress factors I need to get rid of. It's becoming more and more difficult to come up with designer resources for other designers for CU4CU and so I'm wanting to uncomplicate that part of my designing and actually my CU TOU has always been that those items I make available must be changed anyway so there really was no difference other then my selling the product to be used and resold again as CU. If anyone has any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. I eventually will have my product descriptions changed but since I sell in 5 stores it will take awhile and by law all I really need to do is announce this change so that on this date it became effective.
